life can be really vary
u know, some may come here just for fun... some may want to earn money as much as possible... I'm just in the middle btw them
in this town, ocean city, there're about 40 Thais (quite a lot), working in Hotel (Princess Royale), fast food (Mc, Dunkin), restaurants or painting job
what I know is that job in my hotel is quite good, the bad things are we get not enough working hour and there's no kitchen to prepare the food (That's the biggest problem we have)
the others here (except painting) also got working hour problems, and they also have higher dorm rate...
Anyway, I just check out Off's blog and having some chat with Paul, seem that they're doing really well. Off is working in Nike, job sounds really gooddd. Paul also work in Starbucks. They both live with host wa, so they can prepare their food... arghhhhhhh

Hi Guys
I GOT A SOCIAL SECURITY laew na.
It's 2nd week now in the US. My job here is in the laundry for real. It's not too bad. OK, it's quite boring but I think it's the most 'chill' (thai slang) job here. Just take the dirt clothes to the cart, put it in the washer, take them out and put in the drier, fold it... and keep it in the cart... that's all my job... Most of the time I do the folding.
As I said, my co-workers speak Spanish.. and they can barely speak English. So we didn't talk much, but I have learned some Spanish already. Now I can count their numbers and say some greetings. :)
Anyway, I got only 26 hrs last week and I'll get only 25.5 hrs next week already. Work only 4 days -_- too bad, you know? I still lucky that the chef has called me to do dishwashing for about 4 hours.
The good things about this hotel is that sometimes the 2$ meal are excellent. We had some (fresh) fish n' chips, grilled chicken, roast beef, or even a great moose-cake already! Anyway, we may go frozen foods, Mama, or the food left in a room that the housekeepers (the girls) take back sometimes.
I will start my second job this Saturday, do the training first. I'll tell you what it's like later.
About the others, Un+ Wood and Guy do the houseman job. Dan and Pod do the pool and misc job. Girls do the housekeeping except Yui, who do the convenience store.
Pod's already do the second job, cooking, for 7$/hrs. Everybody here is getting second job, they'll start soon.
As I can post some pic here, so next week I will try to take more pictures:D
I still wait for any news from your guys.
P.S. the day before, we were playing cards and I won almost 12$ :P!!!!!

It's very cold here... the winds just blowing me out ! and it's also snowing !!!!
about my job...The first job I got in a first day is a houseman, it's like to put new towels, stuffs to the closet and the maid's carts... just walk around... up and down... take used towels to the laundry... bring dirts to the trashroom and bring things up...
Then, since the second day... We've changed the job to do the bed lifting... because the hotel is changing all the beds (every 6 years) so we had to lift the mattress and springbox... taking old ond out and putting new one in.. IT's HEAVYY!!!!! Anyway, I'm just get used to it :)
By the way, I've got a schedule for next week, my position is 'laundry' -_- Of course, easy task, but must be very boring.... cuz you don't have to walk around... just doing the same tasks in a laundry room -_- and all the staff there speaks SPANISH -*- (actually, most of the maids and staff here.. 90% speaks Spanish..) but you know, in a laundry room... there's nothing to do but chatting... and they're all spanish -_-. so.. . let's see if I can learn Spanish
Dan and Pod' jobs are around the pool area (there're many bikinisssssss there, haha), girls are doing housekeeping (they can get tips, and sometimes food that left in the room (not bad at all, they got a pizza (only one piece taken out) , a quart of ice-cream, even a bottle of VODKA!!! Hi guys!
After 36 hours of travelling... I am here! Ocean City, Maryland.
Surprisingly, I ( and most of my friends here ) have no trouble with adjusting time zone. May be we sleep a lot during the flights. Flight from BKK - Taipei is so good, it's EVA air new Boeing 777-200ER. They have personal interactive tv in every seat (movies, games, tv shows, musics, etc.) Although the flight from LA to Taipei has no PTV but we just sleep... almost 6-7 hours.
Well, after arriving at LA, we have to check through the immigration... long queue indeed but there's no problem afterall. The only problem in the LA is that one of Dan's bag was missing (the small bag that carried MAMA ped palo (we doubted that they are suspicious in 'duck or chicken products). We had to ask many representatives.. -_- but finally, they told us to claim at Baltimore.
Well, after arriving Baltimore. We found that Dan's another bag is missing too -_- Anyway, we got that bag back today already.
I had met R' Poom, R' Tee and Pep at the airport. (to mom & dad
I had gave them the stuff in small bag) I also got a cellphone from them, and this is my number

About the princess royale hotel, we are staying in the dorm, 3 persons per bedrooms, one bathroom for 2 bedroom. Because now there're 7 guys here... so we are splitting 3-2-2
The room is small but nice :) although they have no kitchen and not allowed for cooking, we have bought the 'hot pot' already ;)
We'll start out job tomorrow... housekeeping, I must say -_-" But I'll talk about that later as I worked. Anyway, the food for employer (lunch & dinner) is nice. Yesterday we had rice + meet + beans + salds. Very reasonable meal for 2$ only :D
We went to apply Social security today, anyway because we've just arrived here so the information from the immigration is not available right now. We had to wait about 2 weeks to get these stuff done.
I am using the computer from the library, so it is not so convenience to use the internet. I may update weekly.
Next time I will post some pictures from my camera into this blog. I forgot to bring the USB cable with me today.

นอกจากมีแก๊งค์เด็กหอกรุ๊ปเอ ยังมีแก๊งค์ไออี (แก๊งค์ภาค)ไปนั่งไล่อ่านวิชาภาคกันอีก
งานนี้ ซัดโปร NERD MORE ไปเตมที่
(เข้าหอกลาง 1 ชม ได้อ่าน 3 นาที).. ก็มัวแต่เม้าท์ -_- ไม่ก็ขำไอ้ม้า งานนี้ฮารายวัน ตั้งแต่มุข 'เฮลลบลูบอยรสส้ม' 'แจ๊คเสียบ MP3 แบบใหม่' มุข 'หว่านแห' ฯลฯ
สำหรับวันเสาร์ มีโปรพิเศษ เนื่องจาก(ไม่เชื่อก็ต้องเชื่อ)ว่าเดกวิดวะเปน 'จังกึมลิซึุ่่ม' กะเค้าด้วย พอสี่โมงเยนก็เลยออกจากหอกลาง แบกทีวี 14" จากห้องชมรมสาราณียากรของไอ้แมค ปีนขึ้นตึกกิจ (เผื่อบางคนที่มาอ่านจะไม่รู้ : ตึกกิจวันเสาร์มันล็อคประตู ขึ้นบันไดไปไม่ได้ ต้องปีนตึกขึ้นไปเอง) เข้าไปตั้งปารตีั้้จังกึมที่ห้อง ชวก (เอาไม้แขวนเสื้่อเปนเสาอากาศ) นั่งดูกันอย่างหนุกหนาน 5555 (สัีปดาห์แรกเปนปาตี้อีซี่โก ปีนลงไปสั่งเซเว่นแล้วบอกพี่ว่าเบรคหน้าจะปีนลงมาเอาใหม่... ส่วนสัปดาห์หลังอัพเกรด สั่งพิซซ่าคอมปะนี delivery มาถึงที่ ซื้อหนึ่งแถมหนึ่ง...อร่อย:P)

เปนวิชาที่เด็กทั้งภาครวมใจกัน 'กู้ภาค' ประมาณว่า... 90% กูมั่นใจว่า ไม่รู้เรื่องว่าข้อสอบของ อ. X แม่งทำเหี้ยไร ที่ทุกคนลงความเห็นเหมือนกันว่า สอนได้ 'โคตรจะไม่รู้เรื่องที่สุดแล้ว' คือไม่รู้จะอธิบายยังไง ไม่เจอกะตัวเองคงไมู่้รู้ สุดท้ายออกมาจากห้องสอบก็พร้อมกัน @#$!@)#(*!@#_ อ. X กันอย่างถ้วนหน้าอีกครั้งโดยมิได้นัดหมาย (คาดว่า ตั้งแต่ตอนอ่านชีทของจารย์แกก็คงสาบส่งไปหลายรอบแล้วล่ะ)

อือ การเมืองที่นี่วุ่นวายจิงๆ อ่าแก ได้ข่าวยังว่าม๊อบมานหนีงานกาชาดไปชุมนุมหน้าพารากอนแทน ทำให้ห้างมานต้องปิด 2 วันเรย (29-30) แล้วช้านเพิ่งได้บัตรดูหนังฟรีที่พารากอนใช้ได้ถึงวันที่31มาอ่า ม่ายกล้าไปดูเลย กลัวม๊อบ เซงๆ T-T อยากปายอยู่ไกลๆ เหมือนแกบ้างว่ะ ^^

วันนั้นแวะไปม็อบตอนห้าทุ่ม มึงเคยเดินบนสถานีบีทีเอส ที่เหมือนโดมเวทีคอนเสิร์ตขนาดยักษ์ปะ เดินไป เสือกมีเสียงคนโห่ร้อง แล้วก็ปรบมือเกรียวกราว กูไม่ได้ยืนตรงสถานีแน่ๆอะ มันไม่ใช่สถานีรถไฟแล้ว
